A pesar de esto, abriendose su camino a traves de las ramas el viajero perdió otra vez su amigo. Le llamaba una y otra vez, pero no había respuesta alguna y cuando salió del bosque y vio el sol tranquilo, bajando en un panorama de un rojo oscuro se encontró con un hombre viejo sentado en un árbol cortado.
Dijo al hombre viejo. "Qué estás haciendo aquí?" Y el hombre viejo dijo con una sonrisa tranquila,
"Siempre me estoy acordando de cosas. Ven y acuerda conmigo!"

So the traveller sat down by the side of that old man, face to face with the serene sunset; and all his friends came softly back and stood around him. The beautiful child, the handsome boy, the young man in love, the father, mother, and children: every one of them was there, and he had lost nothing.

Así el viajero se sentó al lado del hombre viejo, frente al ocaso sereno y todos sus amigo volvieron suavemente y estaban de pie alrededor de él. El niño hermoso, el chico guapo, el hombre joven enamorado, el padre, la madre los hijos: Cada uno estaba ahí y no había perdido ninguno.

So, he loved them all, and was kind and forbearing with them all, and was always pleased to watch them all, and they all honoured and loved him. And I think the traveller must be yourself, dear Grandfather, because this what you do to us, and what we do to you.
